Fundraising

One of the PTA's goals is to raise funds to support our school, teachers and students. Every dollar we raise helps enhance the education and experience at Whispering Pines Elementary — from school beautification projects to unforgettable events.

We raise funds through various initiatives, some of them included below. To learn more, click on the links.

• Spirit Store: Purchase school-branded merchandise and other fun items to show your support and school spirit.
  
  
• PTA Memberships: Membership dues not only provide you a voice in our school’s activities and decisions, but they also help raise funds to continue the many activities and projects we hold throughout the year. PTA Membership is not tied to any volunteer commitments.
  
  
• Community Sponsorships: Local businesses that become sponsors gain valuable exposure in our community at various programs and events throughout the school year.
  
  
• Donations: Contribute directly to our school to support various needs and projects.
  
  
• Events: Participate in our fun and engaging fundraising events throughout the year.
  
  
• Box Tops for Education: Purchase participating products, scan your receipts into the Box Tops app and our school earns money.
  
  
• Kona Ice: On the third Wednesday of the month, students can enjoy Kona Ice at the end of their school day. Tickets can be purchased on our online store.
  
  
• Scholastic Bookfair: We host a Fall and Spring bookfair where our students get to shop and choose their own books.
  
  
• Color Run: Donors pledge their support for our students as they run or walk laps while being showered with an array of vibrant colored powders, showing them how much fun exercise can be!
